NTLS Choir Tunes Up! The choir performed for the staff at the Pennsylvania Ave office then headed to Baylor All Saints for an afternoon of caroling that brought rounds of applause, Christmas cheer and smiles to all! What a great afternoon! With an amazing spread of food provided by Todd Grimsinger and his family, the NTLS family enjoyed an afternoon of friendship, family and thanksgiving for another wonderful year. Thank you! A special message from Katrina: "Thank you all so very much for the hard work and support you have shown to NTLS over this past year. You are an incredible group of people who provide me with the enthusiasm and inspiration for what I am able to do in this world. To see all of you doing so well and leading full, productive lives is one of my life's most rewarding aspects. I am so thankful everyday to have your trust and support. You truly are my inspiration." NTLS came together for a great evening of holiday spirit as we enjoyed the Mexican dinners of Joe T. Garcia's and a gift exchange. It was great to be out of the office with everyone so festive! Katrina updated NTLS on the most recent happenings surrounding current projects, research and a new grant through Baylor All Saints which will serve to further education and support for laryngectomees. We are planning for attendance at the upcoming TLA meeting and discussed the upcoming year's calendar for NTLS. The NTLS choir showed its talents as we tuned up for our upcoming performance! |
