NTLS Goes TLA!!

The Texas Laryngectomee Association provided a warm welcome to NTLS at the 2012 Conference in Houston which was held February 10-12. NTLS members represented our group proudly... including a lovely duet which was the hit of the banquet!!

NTLS becomes official!!

President Howard Defibaugh was elected for this first term as well as other supporting Officers and Committee Chairs. The talents of NTLS members were highlighted, including crafting, woodworking, sewing, and these will serve the organization well during upcoming fundraising activities! The group identified outreach, education and awareness of head and neck cancer/causes as a priority in the coming year which will serve to direct its future actions. This was an amazing meeting to observe the generosity of spirit exhibited by the NTLS membership!

The North Texas Laryngectomy Society (NTLS)

This is the official website for the North Texas Laryngectomy Society, which comprises the largest membership of laryngectomy patients in North Texas.

We hold regular meetings quarterly and social meetings on occasion, with new topics every time. Attendance is encouraged for both new laryngectomees, seasoned laryngectomees and any interested family/friends.

The regular meetings are held at the office on Pennsylvania Ave. There is no need to sign up or register, simply attend!
